Online pre-order picks up speed

Betty Barclay successfully positions PUBLIC® with MobiMedia’s online pre-ordering.

PUBLIC ® conquers the market with innovative MobiMedia app.
The former system line is becoming a speedy supplier of trendy women’s fashion under the umbrella of the Betty Barclay group. Managing Director Robert Küper has developed the brand’s new profile together with Katag CEO Daniel Terberger, as the founder of the Bielefeld-based company reported on Brand Day.

"We’re still missing speed", said Küper. His company already managed a vertical brand in the portfolio with Cartoon. But there was room for a product that could implement colour or design trends quick as lightning.

An app will be used for orders in the future.
That translates to fast goods and convenient ordering.

Speed is also a criterion that Katag is focusing on for the future:
Board member Angelika Schindler Obenhaus emphasized that for fashion retailers an app will be “extremely important in the future, if you don’t want to miss anything”. By “fast fashion” she means fashion that is always available in stock at Bielefeld – and gets to the customer quickly.
